Park Tae-hwan winning Gold Medal at the World Swimming championships

South Korean Olympic champion Park Tae-hwan won the first gold medal in the men′s 400m freestyle at the 14th world Swimming championships.



2011 FINA World Swimming championships is holding in Shanghai Oriental Sports Center, and Park Tae-hwan touched 1st in the men′s 400m freestyle so that Park Tae-hwan won the first gold medal on July 24.

The record of Park Tae-hwan was the 3 minutes 42.04 seconds on the day. The reaction rate of Park Tae-hwan was 0.67 seconds, and this was the best record on the day. Park Tae-hwan has maintained a leading from the early with a powerful stroke.



However, at 200m, the leader of the race changed as Yannick (France), and the swimmers showed a breathtaking race. Park Tae-hwan regain the lead at the 300m, and won the gold medal winning despite the disadvantages of Lane 1.
