SM Lee Soo-man Stock valuation Surpasses 100 Billion Won! Birth of Tycoon of Korean Wave
Chairman Lee Soo-man, founder of SM Entertainment, became a millionaire as the valuation of his stock Surpasses 110 Billion Won.
KOSDAQ Listed Company SM Ent(041510) closed transactions as 27,500 won and sored 2.04% compared to previous day on July 13. SM Ent listed on KOSDAQ in 2001, and it is the highest price since SM Ent entered.
Lee Soo-man holds the 4,041,465 shares(24.43%) of common stock of SM Ent and the assessed value of the stock rose to 1111 billion won.
So that Lee Soo-man become the first millionaire entrepreneur come from artist.
Many of market concerned people say that the rise of stock prices of SM Ent is due to foreign popularity and performances of TVXQ, Girls Generation, Super Junior, and Shinee, etc.
Especially, they also say that 'SM Town Live World Tour of Paris' for Commemorating the Visit Korea Year 2010-2012 in Le Zenith de Paris affected significant impact to the stock price of SM Ent.
SM Town Live World Tour will be held in Tokyo Dome in Japan during two days, on September 4 and 5.
