Samsung Galaxy S9 and Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus’ Powerful Camera Features and Specification summary

The Samsung Galaxy S9, which will be released in Barcelona, Spain, has a differentiated point: it is powerful camera.

The Samsung Galaxy S9 will be equipped with a single camera, while the Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus is expected to come with a dual camera.




The rear camera has 12 million pixels and the front one has 8 million pixels. The rear camera is expected to be able to adjust the F1.5/F2.4 aperture manually. The value of the applied aperture is the brightest in the industry. 

It will also be able to recognize the 3D face that was mounted on the iPhone X. The "iPhoneX" contained a feature to send messages based on the expressions of a user recognized as a "3D sensor" followed by Animoticon. Galaxy S9, which is expected to be equipped with 3D sensors for the first time among Galaxy seris, will also include a similar 3D face recognition feature.

Samsung has patented the phrase "It can be you". It suggested it included features such as a user's facial expression and a shape of the mouth. It is expected to include 'Super slo-mo', a slow motion shooting mode that can shoot at least 1000 frames per second by installing Samsung's proprietary 3-layer stacked CMOS image sensor 'Isocell'

In addition, the Galaxy S9 has been enlarged to account for more than 90% of the display's total screen size by reducing the screen border (bezels). The battery capacity is expected to be 3000mAh for Galaxy S9 and 3500mAh for Galaxy S9 Plus.
